Lisan was founded in 2021 on a simple observation: the region's governments and enterprises run on language, and the software they use was never built for theirs. Fixing that takes real research, not a thin layer over someone else's API.
So Lisan builds deep: speech models that understand Arabic as it is actually spoken, proofreading that parses Arabic grammar, translation that preserves documents, and a productivity platform that treats right-to-left as a first-class citizen.
Today more than 24 government entities work with Lisan, and the platform spans six flagship products plus a connected workspace of more than 20 apps, built on over 19.5 million lines of software developed internally, including 32 in-house AI components.
